Last updated: 4 July 2026
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what personal data ABCode Ltd ("ABCode", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and your rights over it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and message, when you use our contact form or email us.
- Project information you share with us while we work together, including any access credentials you choose to provide.
- Technical data such as anonymised usage information if analytics are enabled (see our Cookie Policy).
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising on this website by default. This site is a static website with no user accounts or logins.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotations: on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver, support and maintain the services you engage us for: on the basis of performing our contract with you.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations: on the basis of our legal obligations.
- To improve our website: on the basis of our legitimate interests, where analytics are enabled and you have consented to any non-essential cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Where we work together, we keep project and financial records for as long as required for the project and to meet legal obligations (typically up to six years for accounting records), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it where necessary with trusted providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting and accounting services, and only under appropriate data-protection terms. We may disclose data where required by law.
International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
