A club afloat since 1938
Derby Motor Boat Club has been going since 1938, and its website carries the everyday business of running a club: who they are, what membership involves, and what is happening on the water. The build was designed for two audiences at once, existing members who need practical information and prospective members deciding whether to join, without letting the site turn into a noticeboard. A WordPress site built to be looked after by the club itself.
A club with a permanent home
A club going since 1938 has a website that handles the modern half of running it. Members find what they need, prospective members can see what joining involves, and club news has somewhere permanent to live rather than disappearing down a social feed. It has been doing that job since 2022.
