The project

Two home nations, one championship

Esports England and Esports Northern Ireland both went into the 2022 Commonwealth Esports Championships needing the same thing: a home that could carry the organisation, the team and the championship campaign in one structure, ready for the week that mattered more than the rest. Built in association with British Esports, both sites went up on WordPress quickly and were built to be read on the day, then to keep explaining who these organisations are once the spotlight moved on.

The outcome

Built for a championship moment

Both home nations got one place holding the organisation and its campaign together, standing up when attention spiked around the event and staying useful when it did not. Built in 2022, they gave two new home nation sides a front end to match the occasion, and gave them it in the same house style.

For organisations whose profile rises and falls with the calendar, that steadiness counts more than the launch week.
