Picture Lock Films are a corporate video production company, and for a company that sells film, the showreel is the pitch. The site was built to lead with the work: video front and centre, sample projects given room to play, and as little as possible between a visitor and the footage. A WordPress build designed to stay quick despite the media it carries, with a clear route from watching a reel to asking about a project.

The showreel does the talking

The work is the first thing a visitor meets, which for a video production company is the only sensible order to put things in. Prospective clients watch before they read, get a feel for the standard quickly, and the enquiry sits one step from the reel they have just watched.

The site stays out of the way, which is the compliment a showreel site is after.
