Not how heavy kit usually sells

Pump Stations Direct sell UK-manufactured pumping stations that customers configure and buy online, which is not how heavy industrial kit usually gets sold. The store was built around that difference: a buying journey that asks the right questions in the right order, product information detailed enough for a specifier, and a WooCommerce checkout that treats a pumping station as the considered purchase it is. Built to shorten the distance between a specification and an order.

The outcome

Industrial kit, bought online

Customers can configure and buy a pumping station online, a purchase that normally means a quote request and a wait. The store carries enough detail to specify with confidence and enough structure to keep a complicated product understandable, and it has been selling UK-manufactured stations that way since 2022.

Not the way heavy industrial kit usually gets bought, which is rather the point of it.
