In this town alone I look after sites for independent financial advisers, a bulk towel supplier trading UK-wide, health and safety consultants, offshore pipeline engineers, a trade association, and the Chesterfield Canal Trust along with its archive and partnership sites.
That range is the useful part. A financial adviser and a towel wholesaler want completely different things from a website, and the expensive mistake I see most often is a business buying the wrong one: an elaborate build when what was needed was three fast pages and a phone number that gets answered, or a brochure site when the business was really trying to sell online.
Most work still happens on a video call, because sharing a screen beats describing a problem out loud. If you would rather do it in person, say so and we will.

Both, and by the same person. You are not paying a web designer who hands the file to a web developer, so nothing gets lost in the gap between them and there is nobody to blame when the finished site does not match what you were shown.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. The studio is at West Studios on Sheffield Road, and most Chesterfield projects start with a coffee and a proper conversation about what you actually need. Visits are by appointment, so get in touch first and we will find a time.
Can you take over a site somebody else built?
Yes, happily. I will audit what is there, tell you plainly what is worth keeping, and take it on without drama. A site does not need to have been built by me to be looked after by me.
What does a website cost?
Builds start at £2,000, and what yours lands at depends on how much of it is genuinely bespoke. You get a fixed quote in writing after a discovery session, rather than a number guessed at on a first phone call.
Do you only work with Chesterfield businesses?
No. Most of the work is remote and spread across the UK. Being local is a convenience for businesses here, not a restriction on anybody else.
Why a WordPress developer rather than any website developer?
